At Hunts of Hopes and Dreams, we believe in making the outdoors more accessible, enjoying the thrill of the hunt, and deepening the relationships made along the journey.
We were established as a non-profit organization to benefit the many individuals who love the outdoors but have a terminal illness or disability that prevents them from actively participating in these traditions.
Andrew finds a huge rub that is taller than him.
We are a non-profit organization that was established to benefit those many individuals who love the outdoors but have a terminal illness or disability that prevents them from actively participating in these traditions. Hunts of Hopes and Dreams will provide these remarkable individuals a unique environment where they can realize their passion. Lodging, meals, hunts, and other recreation are designed to accommodate these challenges and facilitate interaction with the natural world as much as possible.
Growing up, my father was always there when I wanted to go hunting or fishing. He spent countless hours outdoors with me, and his dedication infected me with a deep enthusiasm for these pursuits and sharing them with others. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and living through the progression of the disease, my father was unable to get into the woods like the rest of us. His experience, and its effect on our family and friends, is the inspiration for this organization.
